The purpose is simple

A secure path to the cameras you choose

The VirtualWatch Gateway creates a secure, controlled path between Watchdog's monitoring service and the cameras you approve. Where your response plan requires it, specifically supported devices such as speakers can also be included. It does not give Watchdog general access to your business network.

Your cameras remain your cameras. Watchdog is not a camera installer. We work with suitable existing cameras, or cameras installed by your chosen security or technology provider.

Designed for confidence

A focused connection, built around your site

VirtualWatch connects approved security equipment to our event platform without becoming a general remote-access tool for your business network.

Your control

You approve what is connected

VirtualWatch connects to the cameras you nominate and only specifically supported devices agreed for your site.

Secure by design

No exposed inbound camera ports

The Gateway establishes an encrypted outbound connection, keeping your wider network outside the VirtualWatch service.
